Scuba tank

A scuba tank is used to help people breathe underwater. Tanks can vary in size and shape. Most divers carry their tanks on their backs, however, there are also hand held tanks that are used for quick dives and emergencies.

Scuba divers usually carry a scuba tank on their backs. Tanks are filled with oxygen that allows users to breathe underwater. They are used in almost all dive environments.

A scuba tank can be rented or purchased. Regardless of if the tank is bought or rented it will have to be filled with oxygen in order to function properly. Most dive shops will fill tanks for a small fee; however, oxygen almost always comes free with a tank rental.
